The Conspiracy to Under-develop Nigeria!

I believe that there is a conspiracy to under develop Nigeria and retard Nigerians. And NEPA/PHCN is the main tool for this heinous act.

Now let me tell you when I decided that this was a conspiracy by the powers that be. I thought of the rumor making the rounds many years ago about HIV being an invention to decimate the African population. I also remembered other funny diseases that sprung up in Africa. Then another thought came to mind, with all these diseases, Africa still has a teeming population. Hmmmm! Another tactic had to be implemented.

Now, since the population attack was unsuccessful, how about taming the technological and mental development of the most popular and influential black nation: Nigeria. Here is how, when you wake up grumpy from lack of quality sleep, you are less productive than when you sleep peacefully through the night and wake up feeling refreshed. Have u noticed how well you sleep at night when there is power as against when you sleep with your generator on?

I for one am more creative with my work and business, more reasonable and easier to please after I have had a peaceful night's sleep. Sometimes I even wake up singing. Yes! Singing!
The days I don't sleep well, it is usually from any of the following reasons:
  • heat (if I turn off the gen in the hopes that PHCN will restore power sometime during the night i.e they have done so in the past few days, and I don’t want to have to get up to switch off my generator),
  • noise from the 5 or 6 generators in the neighborhood (including mine),
  • when the fuel finishes and I don’t want to interrupt my sleep to refill.
  • There was power when I fell asleep but it got shut off sometime during the night

Days like those, it would take some effort to make me operate on top form. You see, I have asked around and I am not alone in this. Don’t get me wrong, I make sure I make the best use of my waking hours. But I am in a better mood all day long after a nice night of sleep, devoid of my subconscious keeping tabs on power restoration so I can turn off my gen.

I am telling you, believe it or not, there is a mad scientist shrieking in laughter while watching us on a huge screen. You know that pitch black you see through your window as your plane descends into Murtala Moh'd Int’l Airport, yesss! That's the work of the mad scientist who has had all Nigerian governments on his payroll because I don’t understand why countless governments have made ridiculously “failed” attempts to solve this epileptic power issue. The aim is this: to ensure that Nigerians do not operate at optimum productivity so that we don't take over the world. See enh that man is holding your destiny down o my people.

I have heard that there is a cabal who need us to be dependent upon Power Generating sets so that they can continue to import these machines, hence, make more money. But even these people, are mere pawns in the hands of those conspirators.
I have been in some very affluent homes where they have alarms to notify them or their guards when power is restored. Rich people also save their diesel too now, because no matter how much money you have, you wouldn’t want to spend it on something that, though brings you comfort, is an anomaly.

Imagine how many inventive ideas have been shoved aside by would be inventors simply because they were discouraged by the high possibility of failure. You see, constant power will change many many things, infact everything! First of all, think of the surplus manhours that will be used more productively. This is what the conspirators do not want us to achieve.

NOW! Say this prayer, repeat after me; I reject every poor performance of PHCN, either through EKEDC, IKDC, or any other DC. Infact, let us go to MFM for Power must Change Hands program, because this power must change hands from PHCN to my Meter where it is useful.

Fellow Nigerians, I hope you see my point in this and agree with me that there is some Conspiracy going on, and if you don’t you can credit my theory to me being delusional, afterall, I wrote this at 2.38am on an almost dead phone in sweltering heat.

Sai Gobe!

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS FOR THE DISCERNING MIND

Hello Everyone!
As the year draws speedily to a close, let me use this opportunity to wish everyone an Awesome Christmas and a Wonderful New Year full of successes on all fronts. You all have been an important part of 2014 for me. God Bless you for being so.

Speaking of the new year, surely everyone is preparing, especially on how to make the most of it. If you haven't given 2015 a thought then you must be so made that all you want to do next year is chop life and cruise or you must be totally clueless. For real!

Well, I gave it some thought, ok ok, I thought about it a lot and came up with a whole lot of  Resolutions. (As an Analytical, I think ALOT!) Maybe 50 actually! Lol! But I gradually narrowed them down to a few, so they would be easy to remember. I hope that they help you to set yours, if you have not made up your mind on what to your resolutions might be.

1. START AND BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
As a Christian, this is my number one resolution for 2015 but I must admit it has not always been.

Most of us, in times past and under several different circumstances in life, have allowed other issues become priorities in our lives, thereby forgetting we have a creator who yearns for fellowship with us.

While trying to succeed in life’s goals, I quickly realized that it is only God whom we can TOTALLY depend on. However, it doesn’t work just by being a good person and living at peace with all men. You have to believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour, obey and practice His commandments, study your Bible, Pray always and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.

A relationship with God requires us as humans to play our part actively. Many temptations will come but by putting your faith firmly on God, you will always win

RECOMMENDED STEPS
1.     Buy an Amplified Version of the Bible, it is written in modern translations of the King James, thus it makes understanding what you read way better. This is available at major bookstores around you or church bookstores and even online for download.
2.     Get yourself a devotional that guides you through daily study. Most major churches have a published devotional for every year e.g. Open Heavens of RCCG by Pastor Adeboye, Rhapsody of Realities by Chris and Anita Oyakhilome etc
3.     Get a bible reading plan. Most people have bibles on their phones and tablet PCs, these online versions have several reading plans to pick from. Some devotionals also have them.
while writing this post this morning, a song came to my mind. Its a song I grew up with from Psalty Series or Psalty Kids, cant really remember, will have to ask my brother. Anyway, the song goes "deny yourself pick up your cross and follow Jesus, He is the way to the Light".
Nuff said! Enjoy your day!

I SWEAR BY.............PRIYANKA SKIN GLOW

Strutt is back........

Welcome me! Welcome me! Thank you! (hehehe)

Most people who know me, are aware of one major battle that I have fought for most of my adult life. PIMPLES! Gawd! I never thought I would see the day when my face would be clear of acne. Imagine my sadness when the selfie trend started and I would be afraid to post pictures, or being out and I would get sympathetic stares from people. Some babes won't even do selfie with me so I dont ruin the picture. Diarisgawduooo!
Chei, I suffered! Some bold people will even walk up to you, "excuse me, I dont mean to be rude (really?) but what are you using for your face?, can I recommend eating pounded yam 3 times a day, 7 days a week?" Of course, no one ever said that, but some suggestions were so ridiculous, I would be dumbstruck. Geez!

I was at the mechanic one day when one guy walked up to me and said, after eating I should run my palm on my empty plate and rub the residue on my face. I simply asked him if he was a babalawo period. Another day, one fuel attendant said I should rub the lubricant off a new condom on my face! Haaaaa! I could go on and on......
Personally I tried alot of things, a whole lot. If I bought all the stuff I used from one person, she would be quite rich by now. Anyway, the first sign of victory came in 2010 when a dermatologist prescribed Septrin. It worked, dried out the acne, but then we all know what happens when you use antibiotics consistently for several months.

in the heat of the battle! lol!

Finally a close friend psyched me into trying one Priyanka Skin Glow. I had tried some other creams by beauticians and I just got more pimples. But I got in touch with her via bbm and ordered the tiniest size of her face cream. I was very very sceptical, I must say.

I tried it at night for about three days and noticed that my skin was actually getting smooth. ah ah! So I continued judiciously, then the pimples started dissapearing. I thought it was just a coincidence, but now I am HOOKED! Priyanka Skin Glow Acne solution dealt directly with the problem on my skin, I was suprised. It targeted the acne, shikena! I thought I would still need something else to clear the black spots but alas they started fading off also. No side effects recorded so far.
The comments I get from people now go like "what did you do" "OMG! your face is clear, what happened" Just yesterday, one client said "so, your face, what did you do to it, or is it make up? I promptly told her to wait for this blog post. As in... what else can I say. Hurray! I am acne free! phew!
